Chemical spill at Port of Brisbane
A berth at the Port of Brisbane is in lockdown following a chemical spill caused by two damaged shipping containers.
The incident occurred around 8am on Wednesday and has resulted in a 200m exclusion zone being set up around one of the berths.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) spokeswoman said scientists were trying to determine the nature of the chemicals.
About a dozen QFES emergency vehicles attended the site as a precautionary measure, she said.
