Border closures, Vic lockdown hits a2 Milk’s China ‘personal shopper’ market

Border closures and lockdowns have hit a2 Milks baby formula sales as it misses out on personal shoppers who send it back to China.The New Zealand-based company’s shares plunged more than 10 per cent after it reported lower than anticipated sales to daigous – people who go overseas to buy products, then resell them back home – so far this financial year due to reduced tourism from China and international student numbers.
