BOM warns of hail and damaging winds for Qld, NSW
Parts of southeast Queensland and northern NSW could see “damaging winds and large hail” on Thursday afternoon, as swimmers and surfers are told to watch for hazardous surf.
Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist James Thompson said today would be the most active day of weather in the region for the next week.
“We do have a trough system moving over southeast Queensland and northern NSW which is bringing a chance of thunderstorms,” he said.
