BHP reveals the billions of dollars it funnels into Australia’s economy
BHP has injected billions of dollars into the Australian economy, with a new report revealing Queensland and Western Australia are reaping the benefits. The miner’s latest contribution report shows approximately $33.4 billion has been poured into the country’s economy during the 2020 financial year, with the group increasing its operational work staff by 5000 to a total 45,000 employees and contractors.
