Australian jobless rate falls to 5.8 per cent
Australias unemployment rate has fallen to 5.8 per cent, according to latest figures.The number of Australians employed jumped by almost 89,000 between January and February, to reach just over 13 million.
The unemployment rate has declined by 0.5 percentage points to 5.8 per cent, with unemployment decreasing by 70,000 people, Australian Bureau of Statistics labour force data released on Wednesday shows.
