Aussie skier Laura Peel is world champion again after landing huge jump
Olympic gold is the next goal for Aussie Laura Peel after an epic jump in Kazakhstan elevated her to world aerials champion for a second time. Peel, 31, last won the world title in 2015 but has been starring in the women’s aerials ahead of next year’s Winter Olympics in Beijing in 2022.
Overnight she put everything on the line at the FIS World Championships, taking on extremely high difficulty jump in the superfinal that she had used once in the competition.
