Aussie share market ends flat but better than expected at five-week high

The Australian share market fluctuated in intraday trade then ended flat, a better than expected result that kept the benchmark S&P/ASX200 at a level last seen five weeks ago.The index finished unchanged at 6102.2 — not far off the 6112.6 close on September 3 — while the All Ordinaries Index inched 0.11 per cent higher to 6312.5.
