Shannon Murphys debut feature Babyteeth leads the charge with 12 nominations for the prestigious AACTA Awards.Babyteeth will compete for Best Film against H is For Happiness, I Am Woman, The Invisible Man, True History of the Kelly Gang and Relic.
Starring Eliza Scanlen, Essie Davis, Ben Mendelsohn and Toby Wallace (who are all nominated in their respective acting categories) is the story of a terminally ill teen girl who becomes infatuated with a boy her parents initially don’t approve of.
