A League: Perth coach slams call to end game early because of lightning
Perth Glory coach Richard Garcia was fuming and baffled on Wednesday day after a call to end his teams A League clash with Sydney FC because of lightning and slammed officials. In a game that was delayed by 45 minutes due to lightning and storms in the area around Jubilee Stadium, the final whistle was blown before the contest had entered stoppage time when the poor weather returned and cut out the lighting.
