Why it’s right to be cautious about bus travel – The Australian Financial Review
The public’s concern about using buses has been vindicated by a new study out of China.

Both buses had vents below the windows, four openable windows, no toilets and had their central air-conditioning systems set on a heating and recirculating mode.
Researchers from the US and China who conducted a detailed epidemiological analysis of the event concluded the infected passenger was probably a super-spreader.
Epidemiologists say buses that lack airflow could be ‘super-spreading environments’ and advise it is best to sit close to a source of fresh air.
