A young Australian scientist has made a potentially ground-breaking breakthrough in the search for a breast cancer cure.
A study by 25-year-old Dr Ciara Duffy has found that venom from honey bees can rapidly kill aggressive, hard-to-treat and often deadly breast cancer cells.

Dr Duffy, from the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and The University of Western Australia, used the venom from 312 bees to test the effect on various types of breast cancer.
