It’s easy to judge people who escape from quarantine as not doing their bit. But if we use some basic principles from behavioural science, we might stop people wanting to escape in the first place.

When we hear of people who have allegedly escaped from mandatory quarantine whether thats from hotels in Perth, Toowoomba, Sydney or Auckland its easy to ask: What were they thinking? Why didnt they just follow the rules?.
