Aldi’s radical plan to transform all 555 stores, warehouses revealed
Aldi has revealed it will power all of its stores and warehouses with 100 per cent renewable energy by the end of 2021.The supermarket giant will be using offsite wind farms and onsite solar panels to power their 555 stores and eight distribution centres.
The move is Australia’s largest commercial on-site solar rollout to date.
By the end of this year, Aldi aims to have 250 Australian stores and six warehouses equipped with 102,000 solar panels.
