Missing kayaker’s body found in Logan River, five days after he was last seen
The body of a kayaker, who was last seen five days ago, has been found in a river at Alberton, south of Brisbane.
A fisherman called police at 5.30 on Thursday morning, after he found a body in the water.
Shortly after 12pm on Saturday, August 22, police launched a multi-agency sea and air search to find the 26-year-old man who was on board a two-person kayak that overturned, throwing both occupants into the water in the Logan river.
