Torquays Anne Johnson describes being diagnosed with cancer as an out of body experience.
The grandmother of seven was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2018, after a routine screening detected a lump.
“I had no idea I had a lump,” she said.
“Breast screening probably saved my life.”
Ms Johnson, 61, underwent a lumpectomy, had five lymph nodes removed as a preventive measure, and had radiation therapy.
“Radiation isn’t fun, you’ve got to go there every weekday for six weeks,” she said….
