Ansell will cut ties with coronavirus profiteers – The Australian Financial Review

CEO Magnus Nicolin says price-gouging chemical makers in Malaysia who are part of the disposable gloves supply chain will be sin-binned eventually.

Mr Nicolin said the extraordinary demand had led to shortages across the globe as hospitals and governments scrambled to find extra supplies of gloves and personal protective equipment.
Output at two Ansell factories in China and Sri Lanka which make protective suits has been beefed up by 40 per cent.
Ansell experienced an 18 per cent jump in sales of single-use gloves. Mr Nicolin said the strong reputation of Ansell had been a big plus in the pandemic. “We’re selling trust,” he said.
