The Fremantle Dockers have secured a gritty 7.8 (50) to 2.7 (19) victory over the Sydney Swans in a low-scoring contest at Perth Stadium.Despite leading the inside 50 tally, the Swans were only able to muster two goals during Saturday’s round 13 match, struggling to convert opportunities in front of the posts.
It was the club’s lowest score in the AFL since 1971, before they relocated to Sydney. It was also the lowest score conceded by Fremantle in the club’s history.
