Peter Foster arrested in Port Douglas over fraud, money laundering charges

Peter Foster, the man dubbed Australia’s greatest conman, has been arrested on fraud charges in far north Queensland.
The 57-year-old was arrested on a Port Douglas beach on Thursday morning following an investigation by New South Wales fraud squad detectives.
Three plain-clothed officers arrested Foster as he was walking his two dogs along Seven Mile Beach shortly before 8am today.
