Paramedics refused to take elderly woman across Qld border

NSW paramedics reportedly refused to take an elderly woman from her home on the far north coast to hospital just across the Queensland border, leaving her to call a taxi in order to get there.
Shirley Stratton’s, 90, blood pressure dropped dramatically on Thursday night, prompting her son, Ron Stratton, to call an ambulance, according to the Gold Coast Bulletin.
