Melbourne weather: Cold blast of rain, thunderstorms and snow to hit Victoria
The outskirts of Melbourne could be hit by more snow later this week as a cold wintry blast pushes into southeastern Australia.The temperature is set to plummet across much of Victoria by Friday, with widespread showers, isolated thunderstorms and hail and snow falling to low levels.
Sky News Weather chief meteorologist Tom Saunders said the snow level would drop to 500m on Friday and Saturday, which would bring falls to non-alpine regions by the weekend.
