Huge drop in flu cases in Victoria

The coronavirus lockdowns and social distancing measures have led to a 70 per cent drop in flu cases in Victoria compared with last year.More than 150 Victorians died from the flu last year, but in the five months to May 31 this year there were no flu-related deaths, the Herald Sun reports.
In that time there were just 4500 confirmed flu cases, compared with 15,358 in the same period last year – a reduction of 70 per cent.
