Uncertainty for beekeepers, producers after varroa mite detected in South Australia

Beekeepers and horticulture businesses in South Australia face uncertainty following the first detection of the parasitic varroa mite in the state.
The mite was detected on Tuesday at Pooginook in the Riverland during a routine Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) inspection.
