Victoria’s jobs market recovering when second COVID-19 wave struck

Victorias jobs market had started to recover from the first wave of COVID-19 when case numbers again spiked, new data shows.An Australian Bureau of Statistics report released on Tuesday showed payroll jobs in the state fell 6.7 per cent between mid-March, when Australia confirmed its 100th confirmed case, and July 25.
