Hundreds of people ‘illegally’ camping

Three people have been charged after police were forced to break up a crowd of up to 300 revellers at a beach party in north Queensland.
Officers were called to Wangetti Beach on Saturday morning where they say between 200-300 people were illegally camping and consuming alcohol on the beach. A stage had been set up and a DJ was playing loud music.
