The Victorian government is using an emotional tactic in a desperate bid to drive down soaring COVID-19 infections.

Emotional tales of the huge toll COVID-19 has had on the lives of survivors will be broadcast across Victoria as the State Government uses advertising to drive vital messages about adhering to stage four lockdown.
The advertisements played at Monday morning’s press conference featured a middle-aged woman who had experienced lingering affects after her recovery and a mother’s painful struggle with the disease.
In the first advertisement, June, detailed her 32-day battle in ICU.
