Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen was Queensland’s longest serving premier, in office for 19-years, from 1968 to 1987.
He represented the Country Party, now known as the Nationals.
Lady Florence Bjelke-Petersen served as a Queensland Senator for the Nationals for 12 years.
Sir Bjelke-Petersen died in 2005 and Lady Bjelke-Petersen in 2017.
Their family has now decided to auction their entire estate, comprising of over 800 items….
