Urgent COVID warning for pubgoers in Newcastle
Health authorities have ordered patrons of three pubs in Newcastle to self-isolate immediately and patrons of two others to be on high alert for symptoms after a man in his 20s tested positive to coronavirus. The man is a close contact of a teenage boy whose positive test was revealed on Sunday.
According to the Hunter New England Health District, the man visited five pubs and a stadium over the weekend.
