The supermarket giants want all customers to now wear face masks but their own in-store pandemic controls appear to have slipped.
On Friday, I spent one hour in a cafe in inner-city Sydney. There were separate entry and exit points. Inside the entry point was a table with instructions on registering attendance according to coronavirus health regulations. Within the hour I was there, a number of people entered via the exit entrance and did not register. Neither did many people entering via the entrance point.
