Toddler dies from injuries after being found in Gold Coastdam
A coroner’s report is being prepared on a three-year-old girl died after being pulled out of a dam on Saturday.
Queensland police confirmed on Sunday that the girl had died from critical injuries at Gold Coast University Hospital on Saturday night.
The police spokesman said it appeared the incident occurred at a private dam at a Gaven property on the Gold Coast.
Paramedics went to the property about 11am on Saturday following “post immersion” involving the girl.
