Across the country, live music is coming back. But there are a few key ways the coronavirus pandemic has changed the experience of seeing a gig.
In March, when the shutdowns started happening, live music basically stopped.
Across the country, musicians starved for connection were playing live on Instagram and getting beamed into loungerooms from the stages of empty bars.
Since then, the rules around how shows can happen have loosened to varying degrees in all states except Victoria.
But gigs don’t look the same.
