Fleetwood Mac guitarist and co-founder Peter Green dies at 73
Peter Green, the co-founder and original guitarist of Fleetwood Mac, has died at the age of 73.Green died “peacefully in his sleep”, according to a statement released on Saturday.
He was influential in the band’s early days, however his career with the band was shortened because of mental illness.
Lawyers acting on behalf of Green’s family said that while a “further statement will be provided in the coming days,” those close to the iconic Blues guitarist share “great sadness” over his passing….
