Drivers are being urged to avoid parking the car anywhere near their homes or any indoor structures.
Just weeks after more than 57,000 Kia vehicles were recalled, Hyundai has issued a recall of its own over fears the impacted cars could catch fire – even when switched off.
On Sunday, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission issued a recall notice for Hyundai Genesis (DH) (2015-2017).
The notice relates to a manufacturing error, that could cause the electronic control circuit board in the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) module to short circuit when exposed to moisture.
