Spike in workers bullying, blackmailing bosses while working from home – Brisbane Times
A Queensland lawyer says has been involved in an array of recent disputes stemming from working-from-home practices.
It was a deliberate attempt at sidelining those new employees, in our view.
Mr Mamaril said he had also dealt with several cases involving blackmail.
An employee was given access to financial documents and realised other staff were getting paid more than her, so she questioned her superiors about it, he said.
She then threatened to release what other staff were being paid, unless she was given an immediate pay rise.
