A group of Chinese students have been sentenced to up to two and a half years in jail after using a loophole that got them free KFC.
The university students from east Chinas Jiangsu Province were taking advantage of a loophole on KFCs mobile applications, the Global Times reports.
The group obtained free KFC meals and made profits, which the paper said led to economic losses equating to 200,000 yuan ($40,000) for the fast-food giant.
