Kingfisher birds glued to sign in Cathu State Forest

The RSPCA are investigating a “horrible” act of animal cruelty after two Kingfisher birds were found glued to a sign post in Queensland.

One had died and the other was alive but in a “distressed” state when they were found by onlookers, who managed to free the native bird, in the Cathu State Forest north of Mackay.

Kiya Durbridge told 7News one her friends found the birds and asked her to post it to Facebook as she didn’t have social media.
