Chrisco Hampers admits HeadStart lay-by plan made false claims
Iconic Christmas company Chrisco has admitted it misled consumers about its lay-by hamper deals, forcing them to keep coughing up cash after the product had been paid for. Following a probe by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, it was revealed Chrisco’s lay-by agreement contained unfair contract terms, resulting in misleading claims to more than 20,000 customers.
