Queensland check-in app mandatory from May 1

The Queensland’s COVID check-in app is mandatory for all pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants from May 1 as the state records no new COVID-19 cases.
There were 28 active cases and 5692 COVID-19 tests had been completed in the past 24 hours.

Communities Minister Leeanne Enoch said Queenslanders had embraced the app that assisted with contact tracing.
“We’ve seen more than 2.4 million downloads of the Queensland check-in app and over 18 million check-ins since the app was first initiated,” she said.
