Deklan Babbington-MacDonald’s final days before Sea World toy accident
A six-year-old Queensland boy was “goofing around” with his friends just days before a mishap with a toy saw him put on life support.
Yesterday, it was revealed doctors at Queensland Children’s Hospital had delivered the devastating news that young Deklan Babington-MacDonald’s life support would be turned off in 48 hours.
Deklan was critically injured on Anzac Day at his Nerang home after becoming “entangled” in a stuffed penguin toy with a rodlike leash that had been purchased from Sea World just four days before.
