Warwick cops hunt Stanthorpe man after escaping custody
A Queensland man charged with a string of offences remains on the run after he allegedly headbutted a police officer to escape custody.
Clayton Alvoen, 28, from Stanthorpe, was being escorted by a police officer from Warwick Magistrates Court to the watch house when he allegedly headbutted the officer and fled on foot.
Police launched an extensive search but failed to find the man. Officers believe he may have been driven away from the scene by associates.
