Dunalley fire civil action case hears campfire in stump allegedly led to 2013 disaster

Hundreds of people who lost their property during the 2013 Dunalley blaze in Tasmania have taken civil court action against a woman they allege started the fire.

The fire destroyed 93 houses and 186 other buildings, including a school and a police station, and forced residents to shelter in bodies of water for hours on end as they waited for the danger to subside.
