Scott Morrison demands equal say with Qld government for 2032 Olympics
Just over an hour before a final guarantee was due to the International Olympic Committee, the federal government agreed to co-fund Queensland’s 2032 Games bid on the condition of equal say.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison confirmed at 3.57pm on Monday that his government would fund 50 per cent of new infrastructure, including stadiums, venues and roads, for the Games.
