Queensland MP Duncan Pegg resigns, triggering byelection

Mr Pegg also spoke about being bailed up, while he was in the members’ bar drinking coffee “or perhaps something a bit stronger”, by former agriculture minister Bill Byrne.
Duncan Pegg will resign from Parliament to focus on his health.
“He seemed really happy to see me. He had found out I was on the committee and therefore could speak for 20 minutes on his bill,” he said.
