Block star’s co-accused to represent himself

Proceedings in the trial of ex-Block star Suzi Taylor have taken a turn after her co-accused, Ali Ebrahimi, decided he would represent himself for the rest of the trial.
Ms Taylor and Mr Ebrahimi are on trial at Brisbane District Court over an alleged extortion ordeal at a New Farm apartment in October 2019.
Both have pleaded not guilty to extortion, deprivation of liberty, fraud, attempted fraud and assault occasioning bodily harm.
