Cody Simpson puts on dramatic display in return to Australian swimming championships
Australian pop star Cody Simpson has produced a stunning first swim at the Australian swimming championships to send a very clear message ahead of the 2021 Olympics.The uber-talented 24-year-old has a mountain to climb to secure a spot on the Australian swim team for the Tokyo Games, but showed on Saturday night he is a very legitimate threat.
Simpson was a dramatic no-show for his preferred 100m butterfly event on Friday night, but his performance in the 50m event has stunned Australian swimming.
