Simon & Schuster says it won’t distribute book written by police officer who shot at Breonna Taylor

A Louisville police officer who fired at Breonna Taylor after being shot during the deadly raid on her apartment is writing a book, but it won’t be distributed as planned by publishing giant Simon & Schuster.

- Sergeant Jonathan Mattingly’s book will be published by a small publisher which has a deal to have its books distributed by Simon & Schuster
- But Simon & Schuster is refusing to distribute it
- The officer and his publisher have been accused of seeking to “profit off of Black pain”
