The former Australian Test captain has taken out cricket bible Wisdens photograph of the year competition for an image he took while travelling through India early last year.
Waugh captured a group of children playing cricket in the sand dunes near Osian during a three-week trek across a country he has formed an unbreakable bond with through his charity work.
