Taking it to the streets: How Queen’s Wharf will spend millions on public art

There have been new parks and a heritage revival, and now public art is set to transform the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf site.
An artist’s impression of the Queen’s Wharf casino, retail, hospitality and entertainment venue due to open from 2022.
Arts Minister Leeanne Enoch today joined Destination Brisbane Consortium project director Simon Crooks and Star Entertainment Group CEO Matt Bekier on site to announce the art component.
Public art will feature in seven locations, including along the Brisbane River and on George Street.
