Girl’s appendix ruptures during ‘unacceptable’ wait at Adelaide’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital
A seven-year-old girl had to wait eight hours for urgent surgery at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital last month, in what a retired top doctor called “one of the worst cases of neglect of duty of care” he had ever seen.
