Specialist police swarm Brisbane street amid siege declaration
Specialist police have swarmed a suburban street in Brisbane and established a large exclusion zone amid an ongoing siege.
Officers were called to a disturbance at 9.30am on Monday in Capalaba, in the city’s south east and are negotiating with a man, who is the only person in the house.
Members of the public were told to avoid the area and urged to follow advice of police at the scene with authorities declaring an emergency alert.
