No new COVID-19 cases as Qld premier calls for women’s issues summit

No new local cases were detected in Queensland on Wednesday as Queensland’s Premier called for a national summit on women’s issues.
However, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said six new cases were detected in hotel quarantine in the past 24 hours.
“Zero community transmission, this is wonderful news,” she said.

There are now 73 active cases in Queensland.
The coronavirus case update comes as the Premier called for a national women’s summit to discuss gender inequity, affordable childcare, sexual harassment in the workplace and the pay gap.
